Had really good cuts of beef. Definitely the best premium beef I have had to date. Owner also puts a lot of care into trimming the beef. Overall will be back to get more beef if I ever pass the area.

A great place just outside of Annapolis. The owners are very knowledgeable of their food and practice. Roast pork sandwich was very juicy. Cured meats were incredible. I took home some of their peanut butter after trying a sample. As a bonus for dog lovers, Bailey likes to greet customers :)

Stopped in for a sandwich and left with andouille. Only sandwich available was chicken salad and it was delicious. When the sandwich was ready the guy also brought me a slice of fresh smoked andouille sausage that was so perfect I couldn't not purchase a whole one. It seems more of a butcher shop than a take out sandwich place but that sandwich was crafted not just thrown together. They've got duck fat and other cooking provisions in the cooler and some beautiful cuts of beef and pork in the glass case. If I lived closer, I'd be a regular.

Finally. A perfect sandwich! Ordered one ham and one chicken salad and both were out of this world. The bread was true German-style and the meat was flavorful. All flavors perfectly balanced. Love the Phish references. Need to start a cult following for this quirky place. (Menu is limited and seasonal so go with it).

I've heard about this hidden gem for a while and finally got a chance to try it recently. The cases at the front were loaded with a variety of beautiful cuts of meat and house made sausages. I got a roast beef sandwich, a potato salad, a split pea soup, some sausages and a tub of their house made peanut butter. Everything was fantastic. Their potato salad was a light and bright variety instead of the typical mayo based version. The sausages are not as fatty as the ones you'd get from the supermarket and is loaded with spices and flavor and I enjoyed them quite a bit and didn't feel super heavy afterwards. And their house made peanut butter, while pricier, was just incredible and you just can't compare this stuff to commercial brands. Just a wonderful place overall ran by folks who are very passionate about what they do.

Congratulations on one of the best chicken salad sandwiches I have eaten in a long time. Bread was definitely a highlight. The home made peanut butter highly recommended. Will definitely be returning to try the other sandwich offerings.
